I help people, in a truly inclusive environment, to have confidence in their body so they can take small steps to more movement over time, so they can stay more mobile as they get older.  

I'm so proud to say that so many of my members have been with Heka Pilates for years... and there's a very good reason why that is.

It's because they can make progress whatever stage they are at, in any of my classes!

The layering technique that Heka Pilates uses means that every movement starts with an 'accessible to all' level and then optional layers are added so that everyone can choose the right level for them.

In every class, the movement you do is a personal and we always encourage them to maximise the benefits of their choice with reminders to move an inch further if its there for them.

By giving our members the chance to choose their own right level for every movement, they feel empowered and everyone loves that they can participate at the same pace as everyone else, but at their own layer.

This is what evidence based Pilates looks like - empowering people to own their fitness journey and using the latest science of movement to ensure that the time practising is productive and beneficial.

Heka’s members tell me that as well as being able to join in in exactly the right way for themselves, that they love the sense of community they feel and how much fun our classes (and social events!) are. I’m passionate about building a community that all my members can be part of, whichever class they attend.

But my membership includes so much more than just your class….

  • Your weekly class during term time (in Charfield, Wickwar or Winterbourne)

  • Regular morning move sessions (held via Zoom) so that you can keep focused on your movement in between classes – I don’t know of any other Pilates membership that gives this level of live interaction with its members

  • A termly live relaxation Pilates session via Zoom, which is also available after the session via our on-demand hub, to use as often you choose

  • An invitation to a termly Heka Social event - from Xmas meals to Pilates and Lattes to quiz nights, our social events are always filled with laughter and a chance to catch up with each other

Becoming a member

Your Pilates Membership Plan (including all member benefits) will be £35.00 per month.

I’ve worked both of my class locations to conduct risk assessments and to agree class numbers so that everyone has ample space to move safely during their class.

To join Heka Pilates simply choose the class you want to attend, and as long as there is space available, you’ll be asked to enter some information about yourself including a short medical questionnaire to ensure that Pilates is right for you, and your direct debit will be set up.
